I purchased an advertisement on something called BookBub, which sends out an email to subscribers about eBooks. The ad cost $220, so I was a little nervous about spending so much. I would have to sell 600 copies just to break even (I put the book on sale at 99 cents).

Well, I sold 1,100 copies and made it all the way to #100 in the Paid store! It was only on the hallowed Top 100 list for 2 hours, from about 3 a.m. – 5 a.m. So how did I manage to get this screenshot? My 1-yr-old woke up me. I suppose that is one of the few upsides to a teething toddler!

I have decided to try Amazon Select. This means that for the next 90 days, Dented Cans will only be available on Amazon. If you have a Nook or other e-reader and would like to read my novel, please contact me at hwalshwriter [at] gmail [dot] com and we can work something out.

I’ve added a Press Section to my site, mostly so I could highlight the review that Dented Cans received from a Top 500 Amazon Reviewer. This is the sort of review that you can’t blame me for wanting to tout! I was humbled by it.
